Cops hunt man dressed as Super Mario character after woman hit in face with glass bottle at Nottingham Halloween party | The Sun

POLICE are hunting for a man who dressed as a Super Mario character on Halloween after a teen girl was attacked at a party.

Photos of the man dressed as the cartoon Waluigi have today been shared after the 17-year-old was hit in the face with a glass bottle.

The horror unfolded after the girl tried to break up a brawl between two groups.

Amid the chaos at Nottingham's Roebuck Inn, the innocent teen was hit in the face with the glass bottle.

She was left with 13 damaged teeth and cuts to her lip after the attack on October 27.

PC Ben Harwood, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a very nasty assault on a young person celebrating Halloween with her friends.

“She sustained injuries which consist of a number of teeth being damaged and she is undergoing reconstruction surgery for these injuries.

“We are determined to find the person responsible and are releasing an image of a man we are keen to trace, as we believe he may have information that could assist the investigation.

“If you know the man in the picture or are the man in the picture, we would urge you to get in touch as soon as possible.”
